Mr. Stephen John Bautista, a BSHRM junior, has flown to Vietnam November 30 to start an 8-week OJT Training. He is the first ever international exchange student from STI College General Santos. The good-natured son of Celestino and Teresita Bautista of Polomolok, South Cotabato turned 20 last month, and is very glad about this wonderful gift. According to Stephen, he is very thankful to his family, relatives, and friends who supported him all the way. He is also grateful for the assistance of the school administrators, Ms. Roda Cabuga and Mr. Kenneth Ang, and the entire STI family. Stephen believes STI has inculcated in him the necessary skills required to immerse with Vietnamese people. His training will cover Asian and Western cuisine, bar and restaurant operations, food and beverage preparations, guest relations, and more. Stephen shares his dream to other STIers:” You too, can become an international exchange student!”
